OUR STORY

We are designers, engineers and manufacturers who are passionate about what we do – we take ideas and make them into physical working products. We’re creative, sharp, and dedicated to doing things right for our customers and their projects’ expectations.

Midwest Mold was founded in 1994 by two mold makers that began the business as a mold repair and engineering facility to support custom molders. Eventually those same customers requested Midwest Mold to build new molds and the story unfolded from there. What begin with a handful of employees in a leased 5,000 square foot space has evolved to 42 employees in our current 37,000 square foot facility.

While Midwest Mold’s roots began in building automotive injection molds, we’ve expanded our customer base and competencies to a attract projects from many industries. We’ve supplied injection molds and plastic parts for tight tolerance industries like medical, aerospace, orthopedic, recreation vehicle (RV), appliance, electronics and consumer products.

We invite prospective and existing customers to visit our facility in Roseville, Michigan to meet our team and see the capital investments we’ve made to ensure we remain globally competitive.  Our ideal customer is seeking a full service, plastic product development partner where program management, mold design, engineering, manufacturing and first shots are the responsibility of a single source.

Our insights, attention to detail, and transparency with customers help us create highest-quality plastic products. Our business is helping customers succeed. While making custom injection molded parts and tooling is what we do, how we do it has earned the trust of our customers. We encourage customers to put us to the test!
