Medical Device Manufacturers are often unwilling to use 3D printed parts because of the need for production quality prototypes. Timelines are compressed and parts are needed to test. Tools must be completed quickly and samples delivered at a competitive price. Often part revisions are being made along the way which requires tool changes before running the next round of samples. In many instances, Midwest Mold becomes an extension of the customers’ R&D department.
